Primary Purpose:

In the absence of a Child Care Provider, provide a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children which encourage their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.  Implement a developmentally appropriate program of educational activities as set forth by Center management and guidelines.  Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times.  Meet the physical and emotional demands of the position.  Have a working knowledge of Minimum Standards.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Must meet State and Center requirements

Experience:

Recommended experience in related field or at least one year of experience in an early childhood program.
